John Rampage, Artistic Director for Diamond Head Theatre (DHT), is pleased to announce the opening of the 2012-2013 season with FUNNY GIRL.

Starring New York guest artist, Isabelle Decauwert as Fanny Brice, well-known Hawaii entertainer Shari Lynn as her mother Rose, Benoit Weber as Nick Arnstein, and Bob Frederick as Florenz Ziegfeld, Jr. “Funny Girl” features a repertoire of hit songs, like "People" and "Don't Rain on My Parade."

The semi-biographical story, which launched Barbra Streisand's career, chronicles vaudeville star Fanny Brice's rise from humble Lower East beginnings to the heights of stardom. Fanny wants to be 'beautiful' rather than just 'funny', and she succeeds, but at some cost, for as her star rises, her gambler husband Nick Arnstein's falls.??“Funny Girl” is being directed and choreographed by: John Rampage, DHT Artistic Director with Musical Direction by: Emmett G.
